How we built the studio
After getting a City of Seattle building permit, we made several concrete pier footings, joists and a floor. David and Charlie put up the stud walls and roof on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend 2007. Size is 12 feet by 18 feet.

We worked on weekends, adding the wall sheathing . . .

and the door, windows, roofing and shingles . . .
 |
gutter and rain-chain.
 |
We insulated and rocked.

Joe Hester helped mud.

The floor is life-like vinyl.
